Vets with HorsepowerDerek Knottenbelts legendary Charity CPD-Tour continues. 4350 km from London (UK) to St.Petersburg (RU)

Prof. Derek C. Knottenbelt and his Equine Health Angels on their 4th motorbike tour, delivering high level CPD for charity. In 2014 the support is for two undeniably deserving charities: Smile Train and Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust.

On Friday, 4th July 2014 they will stop at the Stiftung Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover and bring 5 hours of exciting Equine Medicine talks.

North European Ride 2014

After departing from the UK on 2nd July 2014 and accumulating in Utrecht we will travel by motorbike to St Petersburg in Russia stopping at Hannover, Warsaw, Kaunas and St Petersburg to deliver a 5 – 6 hour CPD educational program to practising and academic veterinarians at each stop. We will take a 2-day break in St Petersburg and then we will return via Helsinki, Skovde, Larvik and Copenhagen. We will travel over 2700 miles in 16 days and we will deliver a total of 80 hours of CPD to up to 600 vets at 8 venues – that’s 48,000 CPD hours!
